Parkwood combines active daytime care with a private overnight accommodation. Eligible social dogs can join thoughtfully matched playgroups, rotate through indoor and outdoor spaces, and rest during the midday siesta before settling in for the night.
The team follows the meal, medication, and comfort instructions you provide. Room types differ by location, allowing families to choose from small-dog cabins, overnight rooms, Pikesville Luxury Bedrooms, and Parkwood West’s indoor-outdoor suite.

How much is dog boarding at Parkwood?
Boarding starts at $65 per dog per night for a small-dog cabin. Room types and pricing vary by location, and current availability should be confirmed with the resort.
Is daycare included with dog boarding?
Daycare play is included for eligible social boarding guests. Every dog must complete a temperament assessment before joining group play.
Can dogs from the same family stay together?
Some Parkwood overnight rooms can host up to four dogs from the same family. Fit, availability, and multi-dog pricing should be confirmed directly.
Does Parkwood offer overnight room cameras?
All locations provide live play-yard viewing. Pikesville Luxury Bedrooms also include 24-hour room camera access.
Which Parkwood boarding location should I choose near Baltimore?
Compare the actual resort addresses with your route: Locust Point at 1624 Beason Street for South Baltimore and Federal Hill trips; Pikesville at 1848 Reisterstown Road for Pikesville and Timonium-area trips; and West Baltimore at 3001 Wilkens Avenue for West Baltimore, Arbutus and Elkridge-area trips. These nearby areas are not additional Parkwood branches. Check your route and the room options before booking.
When can I drop off and pick up my boarding dog?
Parkwood is open daily from 6:15 am to 8:00 pm. Boarding drop-off is 6:15 am to 7:55 pm, and checkout is by 10:00 am unless later care is added. Confirm arrival, departure and any later-care charges with your selected resort before travel.
How far ahead should I book dog boarding for a vacation?
Contact the resort as soon as your travel dates are known, especially when you need a particular room or holiday dates. Availability varies; there is no guaranteed booking window. First-time guests should allow time to provide required records and complete the assessment before a social boarding stay.
